Adler brought the band an incredible sound. Sorum is a great drummer, but he seemed like something more mechanized. The band's true sound is with Steven and Izzy.

I just started my journey in music because of steven adler. I remember trying to mimic him on a toy drum kit back in 91 because he was by far my favourite member of guns… 3 years later, I started to play guitar and my goal was learning sweet child o mine. years later I became professional musician producer and sound engineer. My life totally changed because of him and I never was drummer.
